How to play Call of Cthulhu online as a beginner

Call of Cthulhu (CoC) is the classic horror investigation RPG; the appeal is sanity, investigation and that slow, tightening dread. Beginners usually stall on two things: the rules look dense, and there is no Keeper.

How the online version lowers the bar

Online, an AI plays the Keeper: it guides character creation, rolls checks and sanity automatically, generates the case and illustrations live, and paces the session. You do not need to read the rulebook first, 1–6 players work, and a solo run is fully playable.
